Sorry doesn't solve everything
(dedicated to my late grandfather who passed away in 2002)

You were there trying to care for me
But I guess I didn't notice what you were doing
Or maybe I was just pretending about it
Maybe I was just too ignorant about you

Sometimes I felt you were too irritating
But now I realise that you were not
In fact what you were doing
Was to show that you cared about me

I regret about never caring about you
But now there's nothing I can do
When you left everyone
I could feel the sadness inside me

I just wish that I could say sorry
But right now there's no point
Because there's no you here
For me to say sorry to
